"In making this book I’ve pulled out all of my childhood and recent journals with the initial intention to make a collaboration of what I saw as my best work. However when reading over the years of writings and ideas I uncovered a part of me that was more important than the poetry itself. That writing for me was just a form of documenting the vivid images and profound ideas that every person at some point in their life stumbles upon, that moment when you feel like you’re the most significant person who ever lived. It only took a poetic form because that very significance that inspired me to write was so beautiful. I found this beauty to be non contingent and through years of our own personal development and experience our ways to express it change but the motive to do so remains the same. I see this work as more personal than poetic and never imagined making it public and now I can only hope that those who read it have the same awe striking moment when they realise they share the same significance with every other person."
