"Born in Manchester 1953, but soon after moved to Surrey. Childhood hobbies were ballet and piano lessons until an accident at school knocked me unconscious. Classical music is still one of my great loves and I listen to it when writing. I also enjoy going to folk festivals in the summer.
My other interests are photography, belly dancing and history. My various jobs included nursing and my all-time favourite as a tour guide around a local castle.

Having moved a few times with my parents and later my husband, I have had to adapt quickly to different lifestyles. This has resulted in a genuine interest in other people, making me more observant of the human condition. Being Piscean I tend to "swim" instinctively towards others who have warm personalities and are interested in the arts.

We have lived in the ancient Devon town of Bradninch for 11 years and enjoy being part of a close knit community.

Our eldest son lives in Camden with his wife, they are involved in medieval re-enactments, whilst our youngest son is an officer in the Army.

In lieu of grandchildren we have two barking mad English Springer Spaniels."
