"I grew up as a multi-lingual German kid from Luxembourg , only to attend some multi-national school and from there proceeded straight into multi-cultural London . Naturally I had to attend a multi-whatever university.

I think somewhere along all this multi-culti stuff I had become so internationalised, boundary-less that I wasn't sure anymore where my home was, what nationality I could identify with or which language to call my mother-tongue. It's unsettling and made me restless. That's where writing became essential for me, my identity and my survival in this highly-media-saturated and psychedelic information-layered reality of ours.

Fan fictions, poems, lyrics, stories, I need them to anchor myself, to take a break from the world and to just observe, myself, others…watching us like birds. If someone can tell by my handwriting what person I am on the inside, then so you can by my writing. But it's not just about me, but also about others who feel just as lost, invisible and voiceless as I sometimes do. My writing is angry, gentle, questioning, fragile and so much more, because at the heart of it lies always someone's personal story. In the end everyone carries a story on the inside that needs to be told…"
