"My name is Margaret Bell. Ten years ago at 52 years old I went back to school. Though it differed greatly from the school I had attended when I was young, it had no tyrant teacher with a chastising cane, my baldly headed teacher had a blackboard duster ready to throw at a dreamy eyed girl. I used to look out of the windows and make up poetry back then, only to be hit with a blackboard duster to bring me back to reality.

I had a fantastic tutor when I returned to learn, a Steve Yelverton, he came from South Africa and was a poet to the core, I say was, as he died about 18 months ago. Just a young man but he spurred me on to keep writing, life can be so short.

I am now 62 and in ten years I have had two books published. The first called Geriatric Teenager, and the second Flower Power. I have been published over thirty times with United Press and had some of my work published in other places too. I have six children and 13 Grandchildren so far, they give a source of never ending inspiration as does the beauty of nature and my deeply held religious beliefs."
