"Hello, I'm Margaret Wait. Having spent my life in Somerset, my husband and I retired to the Isle of Wight in 2009. I have a Son and Daughter, and two Granddaughters. I enjoy walking, dancing, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching wildlife.

Following a serious back injury, I spent twenty years in pain. In 2003 a friend introduced me to a Healer, and since then I have been pain free.
From this positive experience, I joined the National Federation Of Spiritual Healers, and after two years qualified as a Full Healer.

Until that time I had never written anything, but as soon as I sat quietly listening to music I use for healing, the poetry started to flow. Someone wanted me to write and gave me the words. Serious, funny, for individual people or special occasions like weddings and funerals.

In 2004 I entered a competition run by United Press. I didn't win but had my poem published in "The Heart's Content". Since then my poems have been published in various books, diaries and CD's.

One of my ambitions, since starting writing, was to have published my own book of poetry. Now thanks to United Press that ambition has been fulfilled."
