"I was born in London but have lived in Berkshire for some time.

After a career in The Law I resumed my earlier interest in Literature and studied creative writing at Birkbeck University of London and at Oxford Brookes University.

I am a member of a local creative writing group and a local reading group. I have also been involved in amateur dramatics as an actor, director and in various aspects of stage
management.

I find a great deal of inspiration for my writing in nature and the animal kingdom. I love walking and enjoy the seasons and the great variety of landscapes, birds and wild life which Berkshire has to offer.

I appreciate all The Arts and have had poetry and a short story published by United Press. I am currently writing a novel and have a play under consideration by the literary department of the Royal Court Theatre.

The greatest influence on my writing has been The Romantics, especially the Brontes and Shelley, Keats and Coleridge. I should like to contribute to establishing a New Romantic Era.

I am committed to my writing and am a very determined person. Outside of The Arts my other great love is Fine Wine."
