"I was born in 1965 and have five children, three are now grown up. I live in Exeter in Devon with my two youngest sons.

I have been writing poetry since I was a child. When something I experience touches me inside, I feel compelled to write about it. About ten years ago I began writing and co writing poetry based stage plays, which have all been performed in my local area.

Two years ago I started writing lyrics for a local musician, who gigs as a solo acoustic artist under the name Roll with Dice.

I run to keep fit and am currently tying to master the art of playing the Bongo's and the Djembe and have a hankering towards the conga's!

I aspire to be able to write lyrics whilst being able to hear the music in my head and to have the courage to play the conga's on stage."
