"Hi,

I'm Steve, 48 years old, born in Windlesham, and have lived all my life in Bracknell, Berkshire.

I'm single but a loving Uncle and I live with Dad.

Lyrics and poetry came to me in earnest at 18, early song-writing with a Bass playing best friend in my twenties but my most creative period begin in 2000.

Opportunities to present my words via United Press came in 2007 whilst having chemotherapy;

Mums sharp eyes and an advertisement in a national newspaper.

I was amazed and deeply flattered to be successful at my first attempt, to write from inside and move anybody is very special.

I'm inspired to write by the deepest feelings, even those that are dark and difficult to express.

Solid, loving parents, family; home and abroad, special friends and places have all been inspirational to me.

Other interests besides lyric writing and poetry include sport, history, space, politics, the UK, Australia, Diana Ross, film and music from almost every genre and the natural world.
