"I have been writing short stories and poetry for many years. My previous publications are ‘The Perfect Gift of Love’ - a collection of romantic short stories. ‘Poetic Thoughts’ - a mixture of poems and stories and ‘Precious Moments’, which contained 23 stories covering a variety of subjects. I have also been published in various anthologies and magazines.

I have been married for 43 years and have two children and three grandchildren. As well as writing, I enjoy reading, walking and ballroom, Latin American and sequence dancing.

I am presently the Secretary of Huddersfield Author’s Circle (HAC), and have been a member for many years. HAC, which is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, has helped me tremendously with my writing. The reading meetings and workshops are enjoyable and offer inspiration to would be writers. Constructive criticism is always helpful and the competitions, which are held twice a year, are extremely enjoyable.

Creative writing is a wonderful hobby, one which I can certainly recommend."
