"My name is Wilma Napier I have lived all my life in Peterhead which is a busy fishing town in the North East of Scotland. I have two sons John who is twenty one and my youngest son Kevin who is seventeen. I have loved reading books since I was a child and in the last year or so I have started writing poems and short stories. My greatest dream would be to become a successful author. I have had three poems published by United Press in the last year this has gave me great satisfaction and confidence. I feel writing poetry transports you in to an inspirational world where you can let your imagination go wild. By having a book published it would give my family a special gift to treasure and keep with them for ever. The local newspapers in our area are called the Buchan Observer and The Press and Journal the local radio stations are Waves and North Sound. I love to keep fit and I try to go to the gym three times a week. I am a receptionist in a medical centre and enjoy being around and helping people. I enjoy travelling and love going on holidays abroad with my family."
