Young Poets Of The Year

Here at United Press we are committed to encouraging young people to get involved and interested in poetry, which is why we produce Young Poets Of The Year - an annual book featuring the talents of poets under 16.

We ask young people to submit a selection of their poetry along with a photo and profile and we publish the best in the book and give each of the featured young poets five free copies.

To be involved in the next anthology all you have to do is send a selection of around 10 of your poems, a head-and-shoulders photo and a 100 word profile telling us all about yourself and explaining why you write poetry to:
